For Homeschool Families
Classical Latin Education for Your Homeschool
As a homeschool parent, you understand the value of classical education—and you know that Latin is the cornerstone of a truly classical curriculum. However, teaching Latin yourself can feel overwhelming, especially as your students advance beyond elementary levels.
That's where Daisy Lane Educational Services comes in.
I offer expert Latin instruction designed specifically for homeschool families—whether you're looking for online group classes where your student learns alongside peers, or co-op instruction in the Triad area.
Why Homeschool Families Choose Daisy Lane
I understand your world. I homeschooled my own son for seven years using classical methods. I know the joys and challenges of home education. I know what it's like to want the best for your children while juggling multiple subjects, grade levels, and family responsibilities.
I've been doing this for 30+ years. With a Master's degree in Latin and three decades of teaching experience at every level from kindergarten through high school, I bring expertise that's hard to find—especially in formats that work for homeschool families.
I make Latin accessible and engaging. My approach combines rigorous academics with joy in learning. Students don't just memorize declensions—they discover why Latin matters, how it unlocks English vocabulary, and how it develops critical thinking skills that serve them for life.
Online Group Classes
Live, Interactive Latin Instruction
My online group classes bring homeschool students together for live, interactive Latin instruction via Zoom, with all coursework managed through Google Classroom.
Live Instruction, Not Videos
Unlike many online Latin programs that use pre-recorded videos or self-paced lessons, our classes meet live together in real-time. Students aren't watching videos alone—they're learning alongside peers, asking questions immediately, and receiving personalized feedback on the spot.
What this means for your student:
Immediate help when concepts are confusing
Real-time practice with classmates
Personal attention in small groups (typically 6-12 students)
Community and accountability from meeting regularly
Expert teaching from a Master's-level Latin teacher with 30+ years of experience

What Parents Are Saying
Mom of Megan class of 2021
“Latin helped tremendously when Megan took anatomy for her nursing school.
The thing that I believe impacted Megan the most was your kindness, consistency, and interest in each student. Not only did Megan learn so much in your class, but she thrived because you took the time to get to know and support each student.”
